WinStar Casino — Thackerville, OK
WinStar has become another regular stop for us when we’re traveling north or south. It sits right along I-35 in Thackerville, close to the Texas line, so it works naturally with a lot of the routes we travel.
Unlike some of our overnight stops, we don’t always leave the next morning. Depending on the weather and how much time we have, we may stay two or three days. The RV park gives us room to settle in, and when the weather cooperates we especially enjoy spending some time at the pool.
It’s become one of those familiar places where we don’t have to think very hard about the stop. We know where we’re going, we’re comfortable there, and sometimes a couple of easy days off the road are exactly what we want.
